House and Senate immigration bills released

Congressional representatives in the House and Senate have now released the full text of the U.S. Citizenship Act. As previously described, this legislation has been proposed by President Biden to create new pathways to US Citizenship and to modernize the US immigration system. Until now, the full text of the proposed changes had not been released. This legislation will likely form the basis for the debate on Capitol Hill, but only time will tell whether this legislation or smaller pieces of it will have enough votes to become law.
